John Hoover

Lead Guitar

John began playing guitar at a very young age, and is now an exceptional lead guitarist! John is also a singer and songwriter, and most recently performed with the local group Light Rail Bandits. John has spent years with High Voltage and he now drives the band with his skillful Lead Guitar work. When John hits the stage in his traditional Angus Young schoolboy attire, there is no doubt that High Voltage enjoys one of the nation’s most talented AC/DC tribute lead guitarists!

BJ Weigman

Bass Guitar

BJ has rocked it on bass with a variety of bands, including the hugely successful group Face Dancer. Anyone who has ever listened to an AC/DC album knows how important it is to maintain a hard-driving style. BJ takes this to heart, and is a perfectionist, taking his job seriously! He is a true professional and a stud Bass player, while also sharing in background vocals. His friends call him “B” and he consistently delivers the goods with high energy and expertise. He brings it on every performance!

Mark Boner, Jr.

Drummer & Backup Vocals

Mark, a founding member of High Voltage since 2009, is the heartbeat of the band, bringing his passion, power, and precision to the drums while also lending his voice to backup vocals. Growing up in the vibrant Baltimore music scene, Mark was immersed in a world of exceptional musicianship from an early age, thanks in no small part to his father, a longtime fixture in the local scene. Mark’s drumming style combines technical skill with an infectious energy and groove that propels High Voltage’s performances to new heights. Mark adds a “feel” to the bluesy rock of AC/DC that truly sets High Voltage apart from other acts. With hundreds of shows behind the kit, Mark takes immense pride in the quality of High Voltage’s live experience. From their powerful sound and captivating visuals to their dynamic crowd interactions, Mark is dedicated to his craft and his love for music shines through in every performance.

Francis Crouse

Francis Crouse re-joined High Voltage after several years touring the world with other bands. He is widely regarded as the best AC/DC Tribute Band front man in the business and we are thrilled to have him upfront and center at every High Voltage show!!!

It’s hard to beat the feeling you get standing in front of several Marshall Full Stacks playing AC/DC music!”

Mike Babinchak
